Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the DayDone mobile application ("DayDone" or "the app"). By downloading, installing, or using DayDone, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
1. License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use DayDone on devices that you own or control, for personal, non-commercial use, subject to Apple's standard End User License Agreement (apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula) for apps distributed through the App Store.
2. Subscriptions (DayDone Pro)
DayDone offers an optional auto-renewing subscription, "DayDone Pro", which unlocks additional capacity (up to 5 tasks per day) and supports development.
- Plans. Monthly ($1.99 USD) and yearly ($12.99 USD). Prices in other regions are set by the App Store and may vary.
- Billing. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
- Auto-renewal. Your subscription automatically renews at the same price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
- Managing and canceling. You can manage or cancel the subscription in your device's Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- Refunds. Refund requests are handled by Apple under their policy (support.apple.com/en-us/HT204084). We cannot issue refunds directly.
- Free trials / promotional offers (if offered): any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the app, except where permitted by law.
- Use the app in a way that violates applicable law.
- Attempt to interfere with the app's functioning or the normal operation of subscription entitlement checks.
4. Your Content
DayDone stores the content you create (tasks, notification preferences, etc.) locally on your device. You retain ownership of this content. We do not access, review, or have any ability to recover this content — see the Privacy Policy for details.
5. Disclaimers
DayDone is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet your requirements.
Notifications are scheduled by your device's operating system. We cannot guarantee the exact delivery time of any notification.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising out of or related to your use of the app. Our total aggregate liability for direct damages is limited to the amount you paid us for the app in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim (which, for non-subscribers, is zero).
7. Changes to the App and Terms
We may update the app and these Terms from time to time. Material changes to these Terms will be surfaced in an app update or on this page, with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the revised Terms.
8. Termination
You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. We may terminate or suspend your license if you materially breach these Terms. Uninstalling removes all local DayDone data from your device.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the developer resides, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Nothing in these Terms limits consumer rights that cannot be waived under applicable local law.
